ANTHONY BROCCO

Founder & CEO, Advanced Markets

Anthony Brocco founded Advanced Markets in 2006 and has served as CEO and Director since inception. With a background in FX options and commodity futures, he previously led trading and brokerage operations. As the driving force behind the firm’s DMA-based liquidity and technology solutions, he has shaped its institutional offering. Under his leadership, Advanced Markets has built global infrastructure for leading brokers across the UK, Korea, Japan and Hong Kong. His international expertise and strategic vision continue to position the firm at the forefront of institutional FX trading.

GEOFFREY GOOCH

Chief Financial Officer & Director, Advanced Markets

Geoffrey Gooch has served as Director, CFO and Chief Compliance Officer at Advanced Markets since its founding in 2006. With over 16 years in the FX and commodity futures markets, he has led the development of the firm’s financial and regulatory framework. Prior to this, he oversaw compliance and operations for various FCMs and brokerage firms. He has also built regulatory programmes for CFTC-registered and NFA-member organisations. Geoff holds a finance degree from the University of Florida and brings deep financial and compliance expertise to his leadership role.

AHMED ATTEYA

Chief Operations Officer

Ahmed joined Advanced Markets in 2014 and brings over a decade of experience in financial markets specialising in trade execution, risk management and market analysis. Previously, he practised law in Egypt for six years, adding a unique regulatory perspective. He began his finance career at GFT on the dealing desk, earning a reputation for precision and market insight. At Advanced Markets, he has led efforts to enhance client onboarding, operational efficiency and service delivery. His bilingual fluency and strategic mindset make him a key contributor to the firm’s global growth.

IRENE KAMBOURIS

Chief Trading Officer

With over 25 years’ experience in FX, risk and portfolio management, Irene Kambouris is recognised for her strategic insight and operational strength. She held senior treasury roles at Hellenic Postbank and TBank, where she led FX trading and hedging initiatives. Earlier in her career, she worked as a dealer at Standard Chartered and ANZ Grindlays in Athens. Now serving as Chief Trading Officer at Advanced Markets, Irene oversees FX operations and drives financial strategy, focusing on operational excellence, regulatory compliance and long-term growth.

MARKO JAGUSTIN

Chief Risk Officer

Marko joined Advanced Markets with over 20 years’ experience in trading, risk management and institutional liquidity. He has held senior roles at GAIN Capital, Finalto and Exness, where he led trading operations and developed risk frameworks for global markets. Known for his strategic thinking and strong market insight, Marko has consistently delivered results in high volume trading environments. At Advanced Markets, he drives risk oversight and supports regulatory alignment. His depth of expertise and leadership make him a key force in advancing the firm’s risk infrastructure and global expansion.

2006 - Advanced Markets LLC

Founded by current CEO Anthony Brocco, Advanced Markets was established as a Forex Dealer Member (FDM) with the National Futures Association (NFA). This marked the firm’s entry into institutional trading, setting the stage for its regulatory-first approach and long-term industry presence.

2013 - Advanced Markets Ltd

To align with institutional priorities, the firm withdrew from the NFA and obtained authorisation from the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC). The Cayman entity was granted an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL 444649) allowing broader regulatory flexibility.

2017 – Advanced Markets (UK) Ltd

Advanced Markets opened its London office and received regulatory approval from the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in 2018 under licence #777739. This expansion strengthened the firm’s European presence and reinforced its ongoing commitment to global compliance.

2025 – Strategic Expansion & Innovation

Advanced Markets launches new technology-driven solutions to enhance execution speed, market transparency and client access. The firm scales its infrastructure and partnerships across major global financial centres, reinforcing its leadership in institutional FX trading.
